Islamabad, March 04, 2022 (PPI-OT):Lynching and anti-Muslim violence have become a daily routine in India under the Modi-led fascist Indian government. Anti-Muslim violence has only been rising ever since the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power in India as Hindutva leaders are fomenting anti-Muslim violence on a mass scale, said a report released, today, by Kashmir Media Service.

At a three-day global summit held virtually, experts working on hate speech and genocide concluded that since genocide is a process and not a one-time event, it can be stated that the genocide against Muslims in India has begun, it said.

The report lamented that the Modi government’s hate-filled policy is a real and present threat to peace in South Asia as it has given free hand to Hindu mobs to attack minorities, especially Muslims in the country.

It maintained that Modi’s continued silence on calls for genocide of Muslims in India amounted to his endorsement and urged the international community to come forward and save the Muslims from the Hindutva onslaught.

The report said that the world must take Hindutva leaders’ calls for genocide of Muslims very seriously, adding, it is high time for the international community to take note of the Modi government’s extremist agenda.
