AAC condoles demises of several personalities of Srinagar, other areas 

Srinagar, February 19, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed its grief and sorrow over the demises of several personalities of Srinagar and other parts of the Valley. Among the deceased personalities include Shah-e-Hamdan Memorial Trust Pampore officer and preacher Er Nazir Ahmad Mir, former Imam-e-Hai of Buqah Aalia, Pampore, Peerzada Sharifuddin, aunt of Sahil Ahmad of AAC, who was the wife of Bashir Ahmad Rangrez of Shah Faisal Colony of Buchhpora, Srinagar, wife of Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam’s Master Abdul Ahad Kaghazgar, resident of Nowshera, Srinagar, wife of Muhammad Yaqub Baig, resident of Omar Colony, Srinagar, mother of journalist Masood Ahmad Bastal, resident of Sadrabal Srinagar, father of Srinagar Times photojournalist Syed Muzaffar of Kathi Darwaza, and father of Daily Aftab photojournalist Suhail Ahmed of Firdous Colony Eidgah.

The organisation in a statement in Srinagar paid tribute to all these departed souls for their various services to the Kashmiri community and extended its heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families. The AAC also expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family members on behalf of the organisation and its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq who continues to be under house arrest for the last two-and-half years and prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to all the departed souls.
