Angola’s minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication (MINTTICS) Mário de Oliveira said Wednesday in Luanda he hoped that ANGOTIC would place one more stone on the socio-economic development of the country.

“We thank everyone who had contributed to the arrangement of the forum. We hope the event allows to place another stone on the socio-economic development of our country, for the well-being of our people”, he stressed.

Delivering his speech at ANGOTIC 2023 closing ceremony, after delivery of certificates, in the presence of the Minister of State for Economic Coordination, José de Lima Massano, Mário de Oliveira declared open the door for ANGOTIC 2024.

The tree-day event, held from June 12-14, brought together more than 100 companies, 100 startups, and over 8, 000 participations, aimed to promote debate around current, global and future issues of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

The country resumed the largest International Forum on Technologies “ANGOTIC 2023” after two years of suspension, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
