Srinagar, December 16, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the President of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mehbooba Mufti, has said that arresting women in the territory marks a new low for the authorities that persecutes civilians only to please their masters in New Delhi. Her remarks came after the arrest of a mother and her daughter by Indian police in Srinagar, on charges of raising Anti national slogans during a protest demonstration against the killing of two youth by Indian troops in Srinagar.

Taking to Twitter, Mufti said, “Arresting women in Kashmir marks a new low for the administration that persecutes civilians only to please their masters in Delhi.” The situation is getting worse and instead of reaching out to the people, GOI is pushing them to the wall, she wrote.
