Islamabad, December 27, 2021 (PPI-OT):The first ever digital photographic exhibition of Quaid-i-Azam’s photographs was organised by Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications at Pakistan China Friendship Center on Monday. Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Mr. Fawad Ahmed Chaudhry, inaugurated the exhibition.

Most of the Photographs exhibited during the event were from the period of Quaid’s struggle for Pakistan and his time as the Governor General. A documentary on Quaid-i-Azam’s role as the Governor General was also screened during the event. An essay writing competition was arranged by DEMP to encourage the students to write about Quaid’s role as a leader.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting presented prizes and certificates to the first three position holders. Mr. Azfar Khan secured first position in the competition while Mr. Salal Amin and Ms. Saira Sajjad secured second and third position respectively. Lt. Colonel Mr. Shahid Rafique exhibited his personal collection of postal covers at the event.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Mr. Fawad Ahmed Chaudhry stressed the need for religious tolerance and harmony during the event. He said it was the only way to make the country Quaid’s Pakistan. Secretary Information Ms. Shahera Shahid, Additional Secretary Information Mr. Mubashir Tauqeer, Director General DEMP Ms. Imrana Wazir were also present during the event. Students of various universities and people from different walk of life attended the exhibition.
