Islamabad, March 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):Etisalat Group CEO Hatem Dowidar along with President and Group CEO PTCL Hatem Bamatraf called on Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque during Mobile Wold Congress (MWC2022) in Barcelona on Tuesday. Matters of bilateral interest and telecommunication growth in Pakistan and 5G strategy were discussed during the meeting.

Meanwhile, the Huawei Group officials met with Syed Amin Ul Haque and discussed various issues regarding upgrading telecom network in Pakistan. World Bank delegation led by Nicole Klingen, Practice Manager along with Riccardo Puliti, VP Infrastructure and Doyle Gallegos Global, Lead Broadband Access, also called on Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque.

The meeting discussed Pakistan’s strategy towards broadband services and telecom infrastructure. Member International Coordination Ajmal Awan, CEO Universal Service Fund (USF) Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary and MD Pakistan Software Export Board Osman Nasir were also present in the meetings. Syed Amin Ul Haque, Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication, is leading the Pakistan’s IT delegation in 4 days Mobile World Congress 2022 at Barcelona.
