Islamabad, January 05, 2022 (PPI-OT):Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has emphasized the need for promoting trade and investment between Pakistan and the United Kingdom. He was talking to British High Commissioner Christian Turner in Islamabad today (Wednesday).

The Minister said trade cooperation will be further strengthened with the exchange of trade delegations between the two countries. Talking about Pakistan’s successful handling of Covid-19 pandemic, he said the government evolved an effective strategy to face all waves of the pandemic. He said Pakistan is also pursuing the best strategy to deal with the new Covid variant of Omicron.
