Islamabad, January 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to implement the flagship, energy project CASA-1000. In a telephonic conversation with his Tajik counterpart Sirojiddin Muhriddin today, he said increased high-level visits between the top leadership of Tajikistan and Pakistan have further strengthened the bilateral relations.

The Foreign Minister briefed his Tajik counterpart on Pakistan’s “Vision Central Asia Policy”. He stressed on the need for early finalization of talks on bilateral transit trade agreement to enhance trade and economic relations between the two countries. The two Foreign Ministers agreed to continue working together for lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan.
