Islamabad, December 10, 2021 (PPI-OT):Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Syed Fakhar Imam says the government is paying special attention to uplift the agriculture sector. Presiding over a high-level meeting in Lahore on Friday, he said production of wheat, rice, cotton and other crops has increased this year due to effective steps taken by the government. The meeting reviewed measures for improvement of agricultural sector in the province, sowing targets of wheat, prices and availability of fertilizers.
