IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan visits various branches of central police office and reviewed office working 

Lahore, February 17, 2022 (PPI-OT):Inspector General of Police Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan has said that modern resources and all possible facilities should be provided to the personnel performing security duties of police offices so that they could perform their duties effectively. IG Punjab said that supervisory officers should not spare any effort for enhancement of capacity and welfare of the subordinate staff besides taking all possible steps under comprehensive strategy.

Rao Sardar Ali Khan said that mock exercises and emergency drills should be continued regularly to check the security arrangements of Central Police Office and other sensitive police offices. He stressed upon to ensure observance of all devised SOPs during mock exercises. IG Punjab said that the ongoing development work on different floors of the Central Police Office should be completed within the stipulated timeline and no compromise should be made on quality in the completion of any work.

While giving instructions to the officers, IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan visited all the floors of CPO. The working of the offices was reviewed while the heads of other branches including training, welfare, logistics and procurement briefed IG Punjab on professional matters.

AIG Development briefed IG Punjab about the completion of various development works and the master plan. AIG Development further told that the development work on different floors is in full swing. He also gave a briefing on the design of various projects. Other officers including CCPO Lahore, Additional IG Logistics and Procurement, Additional IG Welfare and Finance, AIG Development, AIG Logistics, AIG Finance and AIG Admin were also present on the occasion.
