Srinagar, January 10, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Masarrat Aalam Butt has expressed his grave concern over the systematic genocide, extrajudicial killings and illegal detentions at the hands of brutal Indian military forces in the territory.

In a message from New Delhi’s Tihar jail released in Srinagar Masarrat Aalam Butt outright rejected India’s ‘integral mantra’ about the internationally recognised disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir and said that since 1947 New Delhi has been using military might to break the will of the people and suppress their freedom sentiments but have utterly failed in achieving its nefarious designs.

And the freedom-loving people of Kashmir have always displayed their indignation and resistance against the Indian illegal occupation of their motherland, he stressed. The incarcerated leader paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of Kashmir and said that the steadfastness, patience and the persistent struggle for the sacred cause of freedom is the only option before us.

Masarrat Aalam Butt urged the international community, OIC, European Union and the United Nations to take serious cognizance of Indian state terrorism and mechanisms of disfigurement of demography of the disputed territory by issuing illegally domicile certificates to non-local Hindus, selling state land to non-local businessmen and allotment of vast areas for military purposes.

The APHC Chairman demanded implementation of the UN Security council resolutions in the best interest of world peace and prosperity and expressed hope that the United Nations shall fulfill its commitments and obligations in resolving the Kashmir dispute.
