Islamabad, February 03, 2022 (PPI-OT):A meeting to review arrangements for the 48th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Islamabad on Thursday with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in the chair. The 48th meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers will be hosted by Pakistan on 22nd to 23th of next month in Islamabad.

Addressing the meeting, the Foreign Minister said that Pakistan had hosted the extraordinary session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers on the situation in Afghanistan on 19th December last year. He said that all the institutions played a vital role for successful conduct of the OIC meeting.

He said that Pakistan will again become center of attention because of the upcoming OIC meeting. On the occasion, the Foreign Minister was given a detailed briefing on the arrangements being made for the meeting. He directed that all arrangements should be finalized at the earliest.
