Islamabad, February 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Farrukh Habib says a parliamentary board of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has been constituted on the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan for upcoming local bodies’ elections in Punjab. Talking to media in Islamabad today [Wednesday], he said it is top agenda of ruling party to delegate power to local governments as Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to truly empower the citizens.

He said PTI won maximum seats during first phase of local government elections of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while the party workers are mobilized to show better performance in the second phase. Farrukh Habib said after enforcing article 140-A of the constitution Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in KPK the government would fulfill its constitutional responsibility in Punjab as well.
