Ruthless killing of two civilians in Srinagar blast condemned

Srinagar, March 07, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leaders have strongly condemned the ruthless killing of an aged civilian and a young girl in a grenade blast at a busy market of Amira Kadal in Srinagar. Senior APHC leader Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi in a statement issued in Srinagar denounced the killing and expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved families.

APHC leaders Jameel Ahmad Mir and Dr Musaib Ahmad in their separate statements issued in Srinagar, paying rich tributes to the martyrs and expressed solidarity with the victims’ families. They said that the fascist Indian regime, sponsored by Narendra Modi and Indian establishment, had crossed all limits of state terrorism in Kashmir which was an internationally disputed territory.

They denounced the use of such brutal tactics of Indian military forces and its agencies against the innocent Kashmiri people and added that people of Kashmir will never compromise on their birth right to self-determination. Meanwhile, the Pir Panjal and Chenab Valley United Front (PPCVUF) in a meeting in Jammu said that India was pursuing the agenda of balkanization by dividing the disputed territory on the communal and regional lines.

The PPCVUF Chairman, Mir Shahid Saleem addressing the meeting said after abrogation of Kashmir’s special status conspiracies are being hatched to create more and more divisions on communal lines to weaken the people’s struggle for their political and democratic rights.

He said the people of the twin regions of Pir Panjal and Chenab Valley strongly condemn these conspiracies and will fight them tooth and nail. He said the political destiny of the whole disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir should be decided through tripartite dialogue process.

APHC leaders Abdul Samad Inqilabi and APHC-AJK leaders Imtiaz Ahmad Wani in their statements on the eve of International Women Day, deplored that the Kashmiri women had been facing miseries and victimization at the hands of Indian troops, police and agencies in IIOJK.

They said that APHC women leaders, Aasiya Andrabi, Naheeda Nasreen and Fehmeeda Sofi had been languishing in India’s Tihar jail for last several years in false and fabricated cases and urge the world community to put pressure on India to release them.
