Lahore, January 04, 2022 (PPI-OT):Inspector General of Police Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan has said that Central Police Office is the provincial headquarters of Punjab Police which will be made a state of the art office. He said that best welfare of police personnel is the top priority of the department therefore the quality of food in CPO canteen should be further improved.
IG Punjab expressed satisfaction over increase in facilities and provision of medicines in dispensary for convenience of the employees. Rao Sardar Ali Khan said that medical facilities should be provided to drivers, cleaning staff, security personnel and other staff on priority basis.
IG Punjab directed to complete the process of digital archiving of all records of official files as soon as possible. He directed to dispose of unnecessary records whereas necessary documents and files should be saved in digital form. He said that efficient use of modern technology and paperless working should be given priority.
IG Punjab reviewed all development works being carried out on different floors of Central Police Office and directed to complete remaining work within the stipulated timeline. He issued these instructions during a surprise visit to Canteen, Dispensary, Library and other branches of Central Police Office today. IG Punjab inspected the renovation and beautification of main building, archiving of records and other official matters.
AIG Development gave a detailed briefing to IG Punjab on the development work being done in various branches of the Central Police Office. IG Punjab directed to further improve the line marking in the parking area for parking of vehicles and to add new saplings for beautification of park.
He said that on the occasion of next spring, special attention should be paid to plantation and tree planting campaign in all police offices of the province including the lawn of Central Police Office. Instructing the officers, IG Punjab further said that the up gradation work should be completed as soon as possible as per the modern working standard of the Central Police Office.
IG Punjab directed that any complaint regarding delay in issuance of pension of retired employees will not be tolerated. AIG Development and other senior officers accompanied IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan on this occasion.
