Islamabad, January 13, 2022 (PPI-OT):Hurriyat AJK leaders including Abdul Majeed Malik, Qazi Imran and Khalid Shabbir have strongly condemned the demolition of the houses of Gujjar and Bakarwal tribes by Indian occupation forces in Roop Nagar and Plutta areas of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The leaders in a joint statement issued in Islamabad said, the eviction drive has been launched by the Modi regime under a conspiracy to eliminate the local Muslim population and settle non-Muslims and non-state people there to convert IIOJK into a Hindu majority territory.
These Indian conspiracies must be opposed, tooth and nail, they stressed and added that New Delhi is trying, in vain, to divide the people of Jammu and Kashmir along ethnic and communal lines. The leaders appealed to all the Kashmiri youth to play their part in countering the every sinister move of the Modi regime and play their role in the freedom movement with unity.
