Islamabad, January 03, 2022 (PPI-OT): Former Australian Senator and human rights activist, Lee Rhiannon, has called for unified efforts by international community to ensure justice for Kashmiris, struggling for their right to self-determination. In a video message, she said 2022 must be the year when the world will speak out for Kashmiri people and withdrawal of Indian troops from the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
She also stressed the need to raise voice for the release of all Kashmiri political prisoners and an end to human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Lee Rhiannon said the world leaders must have the courage to speak out against the crimes and lies of the Modi-led BJP government as it is critical to achieve justice for Kashmiris.
