Jammu, December 31, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the unemployed engineers of Jammu have denounced the authorities for reemploying retired engineers. The unemployed engineers also expressed concern over the authorities move to appoint retired engineers on contractual basis instead of providing employment to the unemployed professionals.
A group of unemployed engineers in Jammu said that instead of increasing the number of posts for junior engineers in the government departments, the number has been decreasing over the past seven or eight years. They said that the number that stood around 500 in 2014 has come down to round about 250 posts.
