Islamabad, January 14, 2022 (PPI-OT): Members of treasury benches the National Assembly have said a detailed discussion was held on the Finance Supplementary Bill 2021. Speaking in the House today [Friday], they said it is the manifesto of PTI government to bring reforms in institutions and strengthen them.
In his remarks, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Muhammad Khan said it is the right of the opposition parties to protest but the chair of the speaker must be respected. PML-N Leader Khawaja Asif and PPP leader Shazia Marri criticized the passage of the Finance Supplementary Bill and the State Bank of Pakistan (Amendment) Bill 2021. The house has now been adjourned to meet again on Monday at four pm.
