Islamabad, January 16, 2022 (PPI-OT):Special Representative to Prime Minister for Religious Harmony Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi said the new National Security Policy is based on internal peace and economic recovery. Talking to the media after his meeting with Christian leaders in Lahore, he said the security policy contained all the points based on the National Action Plan and religious harmony.
He said if there is economic stability in the country, we will not have to go to the IMF and thus there will be no external interference in the affairs of national security. He condemned the attitude meted out with the minorities in India and said the harmony and peace in Pakistan are certainly commendable.
