Islamabad, December 31, 2021 (PPI-OT):Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain says Pakistan desires to promote cooperation with Azerbaijan in the fields of drama and film. Talking to Ambassador of Azerbaijan Khazar Farhadov in Islamabad, he said Pakistan and Azerbaijan have longstanding, religious, cultural and historical ties.
The two sides discussed matters of mutual interest including cooperation in film, drama, music and media. He said Pakistani dramas can be played in Azerbaijan with translation. He said Pakistan is an attractive country for tourism, and the film and drama makers of Azerbaijan can benefit from these tourist resorts.
The Minster said as the world is facing the challenge of fake news, bilateral cooperation is the need of the hour. He said the fake news can be eliminated with the bilateral cooperation in the field of media, particularly the news agencies of the two states.
