Islamabad, February 06, 2022 (PPI-OT): Pakistan Embassy in Saudi Arabia arranged special event to mark the Kashmir Solidarity Day. Addressing the ceremony, the speakers expressed solidarity with the people of Indian illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and condemned massive human rights violations being committed by Indian troops in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistan Embassy in Anakra, Turkey arranged special event to mark the Kashmir Solidarity Day. Addressing the ceremony, the participants paid tribute to the sacrifices of Kashmiri brethren in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. They reiterated unflinching support for their just struggle for the legitimate right of self-determination.
In his remarks, Pakistan’s ambassador to Turkey, Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi expressed gratitude to Turkish leadership and people for principled stance on Kashmir and continuous support on Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan High Commission Canada along with Pakistan Consulates in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal arranged a series of events comprising pictorial exhibitions, webinars and road shows to mark the Kashmir Solidarity Day.
The day started with Acting High Commissioner Shahbaz Malik reading out messages of the President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan to reiterate Pakistan’s unwavering support to right of self-determination to people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Later, a pictorial exhibition was arranged to bring out the range of various atrocities and reign of terror unleashed by the Indian forces against defenceless Kashmiris.
On the occasion of the Kashmir Solidarity Day 2022, Pakistan High Commission, Pretoria released a special documentary tailored for South African context. The documentary which was screened at the Kashmir Solidarity Day Seminar at the High Commission has been uploaded on the Official YouTube channel of the High Commission.
