Lahore, January 18, 2022 (PPI-OT):Inspector General of Police Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan took notice of the incident of brutal violence against workers, their hair, beard and moustache were cut by the contractor and his associates in Sargodha. IGP sought an incident report from RPO Sargodha. A team formed by DPO Sargodha has taken immediate action and arrested both the accused. IG Punjab, ordered arrest of remaining accused and directed that strict legal action be taken against all the accused. Rao Sardar Ali Khan said accused of violating human rights and abusing citizens do not deserve any leniency, such accused will be punished.
According to the details, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Bilal and Mohammad Kashif who used to work for Mohammad Arshad, Mohammad Asif, Qadeer and Mohammad Nawab, when the laborers came to collect their wages, after bitter words, the accused brutally assaulted the three workers and cut their hair of head, beard and moustaches. After receiving information about the incident, the police registered a case and immediately arrested the two accused while raids are being carried out to arrest the remaining accused.
