Speaker National Assembly Addresses Ground Breaking Ceremony of Construction of Lawyers Complex at Swabi Judicial Complex 

Islamabad, February 17, 2022 (PPI-OT):Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has said that providing timely and inexpensive justice to masses will further increase the confidence of the people in the judicial system. He said that reforms in the judicial system would enable timely delivery of justice to the people. He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held at the Judicial Complex Swabi after laying the foundation stone of Lawyers’ complex at a cost of Rs 50 million.

Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser said that he has been a staunch supporter of lawyer’s rights since his student days. He assured that all the issues of Swabi lawyers would be resolved on priority basis. He, further, said that the present government has started massive development projects in Swabi. He said that Shah Mansoor Medical Complex, Swabi was being equipped with modern facilities and it would be the cornerstone of the largest maternal and child healthcare hospital.

He said that the completion of this project would enable the people of Swabi to have access to all health facilities in their own district. He said that the public welfare schemes of the present government would always be remembered in the history of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Addressing the function, KP Provincial Education Minister Kamran Khan Bangash said that the leadership of Speaker Asad Qaiser has always stood by the side of lawyers in the lawyers’ movement. He further said that record development works have been completed in sector of higher education during the tenure of the present government. He said that the new campus of Women’s University in Swabi has entered the final stages of completion.

President of Swabi Bar Association Malik Danyal Khan thanked the Speaker National Assembly for fulfilling the fervent demand of lawyers of Swabi Bar. He said that lawyers have always played their full role for restoration of democracy and rule of law. Later, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser also visited the Women’s University Swabi and reviewed the ongoing work. He directed the concerned authorities to complete the ongoing construction work on time.
