Lahore, March 10, 2022 (PPI-OT):Punjab Police spokesman said that senior officers took down Constable Mohammad Farooq safely and called his family on the protest of a policeman in Abbas Police Lines. Constable Mohammad Farooq had returned home after completing his 30-day leave last month. A Punjab Police spokesman said that Constable Mohammad Farooq has been sent to hospital for medical tests.
Farooq will not be posted on any sensitive security duty till the medical report is received. Moreover, as per family sources, the said official has been under mental stress and taking medication in this regard. IG Punjab directed the senior police officers to be in direct touch with the personnel and resolve the issues of the personnel on priority basis.
