This was stated by Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib in a tweet on Sunday. He said the people of South Punjab will accord an exemplary reception to Prime Minister Imran Khan like the people of Central Punjab did in Mandi Bahauddin.

President stresses need of world order based on humanity

PTI isn’t only political party but movement for change: Ali 

Islamabad, March 06, 2022 (PPI-OT):Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan says Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is not only a political party but a movement for change. Talking to a private news channel, he said the government would be victorious against the opposition if a vote of no-confidence is presented in the parliament.

Ali Muhammad Khan said the country is being governed under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan in accordance with the aspirations and expectations of people. He said the opposition parties have ruled the country for a long time but they failed to introduce good governance and resolve the problems of people during their tenure.

PM to inaugurate Ehsaas Riayat Rashan Program today 

Islamabad, March 06, 2022 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate Ehsaas Riayat Rashan Program in in Islamabad today [Monday]. Under the Prime Minister’s vision of poverty alleviation, thirty percent monthly subsidy will be provided to twenty million families on daily use items. The targeted subsidy programme will effectively lower the price of essential commodities like wheat flour, cooking oil, ghee and pulses.

Under the programme, 106 billion rupees will be spent on provision of subsidies to 20 million eligible families. The Kafaalat Cash Assistance Program worth 71 billion rupees will also be started under Ehsaas Kafalat Scheme.

Opposition afraid of PM’s announced relief package: Kanwal 

Islamabad, March 06, 2022 (PPI-OT):Parliamentary Secretary for Planning, Development and Reforms Kanwal Shauzab has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will complete his current tenure and also return to government in the next term.

Talking to a private news channel, she said that the opposition would fail in bringing about the no-confidence motion against government as they are afraid from Prime Minister Imran Khan’s announced relief package for the masses. She regretted that the opposition is just fuelling anarchy at a time when the country is moving forward.

Everyone has equal right to mark Int’l Women’s Day within constitutional parameters: Ashrafi 

Islamabad, March 06, 2022 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister’s Special Representative for Interfaith Harmony Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi has said that everyone has equal right to mark International Women’s Day within the constitutional parameters. He urged the activists to observe the day keeping within limits by avoiding socially, morally and religiously unacceptable slogans. Tahir Ashrafi said there is a proper mechanism in place to hold any day in the country and everyone should follow the code of conduct as prescribed in the law.

Meanwhile, talking to media along with bereaved families of recent blast in Peshawar on Sunday, Special Representative on Religious Harmony said the nefarious designs of enemies will be frustrated through unity and brotherhood. He said people of Peshawar are brave and their sacrifices for the restoration of peace will not go in vain. Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Ashrafi said the terrorists involved in the Peshawar blast will be arrested soon.

Earlier, Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri visited Koocha Risaldar area of Peshawar and expressed condolences with the bereaved families. Speaking on the occasion, he reaffirmed his commitment to root out the menace of terrorism from the country.

President directs inquiry into Pak Post officials’ conduct 

Islamabad, March 06, 2022 (PPI-OT):President Dr. Arif Alvi has directed Pakistan Post Office to hold an inquiry over the negligence of its officials for ignoring recommendations of Special Medical Board to retire an ailing employee on medical grounds.

In a statement, he expressed dismay over the fact that the department has failed to consider the medical condition of a paralyzed employee and asked him to opt for premature retirement instead of providing him relief on medical grounds.

The minister said a large number of people have taken to streets in Sindh as ‘rebellion’ against the PPP government that always promoted hoarders, mafia and lawlessness in the province for personal gains.
